If you are a fan of XanZo Gallery’s work, you might have noticed our site has been down for several months.
I previously hosted our site through a company for over 7 years and when my husband and I decided to put all of our sites together under one hosting plan, I realized I had never backed up my years and years worth of website building work! The old company wouldn’t help me or let me have access to my site after I switched hosting companies, so everything was lost.
It was an overwhelming thought to think about re-designing my site again. I have been photographing over 20 years, and that site was quite an accumulation of work. However, now that I have started, I am so excited and changing many things about our style and our look. I was definitely in a “rut” with how we showcased our work. Our old site wasn’t even compatible with mobile devices! I am not sure how well this new site will show up on mobile phones, I already see it being sized a little differently, but at least viewers will be able to find us on their phones!
This will be a process as I grow and develop this site, but I feel blessed to have started this phase of renewal and am excited the homepage slideshow is up and running. Check back often as I extend out through the Galleries, and please contact me with any questions during this time! ~~ Patrice
