Any time we get to go down to the stockyards for a photo shoot, is a great time!
We had a high school senior request his senior session be down at the Fort Worth Stockyards, so we put our boots on and boogied on down to create some memorable images down in this historic district.
The session was on a Saturday and it was extremely hot and sunny during our scheduled time. And to make matters even more challenging, a BBQ cook off was happening down there and so the stockyards were packed! Parking can be a bit tricky, and the crowds can be overwhelming, so always look at their calendar before planning any photography session at the Stockyards.
However, we were focused on creating a memorable time for Sonny, so we met in front of the Drover Hotel and worked in that quieter part of the Stockyards. We also went down to the river area and had a lot of great areas to work at.
